The event brought together representatives of government agencies, investment funds, financial institutions, development organizations, and technology companies from Kazakhstan and China.

Participants were introduced to the main areas of Alatau City’s development, including preferential conditions for investors, support for investment projects through a one-stop-shop mechanism, and other opportunities provided under the special legal regime. Particular attention was given to Shenzhen’s experience as a global center for innovation, digital governance, and investment attraction. The experience and practices of the Chinese city are expected to be applied in the development of Alatau City.

As a result of the event, 24 cooperation agreements were signed, and understandings were reached on the implementation of projects in industry, energy, logistics, high technology, urban infrastructure, and the digital economy with a total investment potential of up to $6 billion.
